Alba Alvarez, Vice Chairman of the HACC, to receive a Leadership Award from the Harvard Street Neighborhood Health Center.

Alba Alvarez (Albie) will receive the "Exceptional Leadership Award" in recognition of the work she has been doing for the Harvard Street Neighborhood Health Center.The Center is located in one of the poorest, high crime areas of New England, and they are making great strides in improving client care and patient response.  Albie works tirelessly to help those for less fortunate than her. She is also been recognized for the work she does bringing the Hispanic Lions Eye mobile to the needy, Sunday lunches to the Spanish Mass at BC, her fundraising with Children’s Hospital, Casa Nueva Vida and her work with the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Join us at the gala event to honor her and other leaders. The Event will be attended by some of the most influential people in Boston, including political, medical, and community leaders. Reception and Gala dinner will take place on October 21^st, 2011 at 5:30 PM for the reception and gala dinner/award ceremony at 6:00 PM, at the Seaport Hotel in Boston.
